In a post-apocalyptic world fractured by loss, betrayal, and the thin line between science and survival, one wrong move can cost more than your life.
When a mutating virus turns the promise of a cure into a new kind of nightmare, survivors are forced to navigate a world where science, morality, and survival are at constant odds.
Dr. Lisa Calloway, a sharp-minded ER doctor, and Jack Reynolds, a battle-scarred mechanic haunted by his past, form an uneasy alliance to protect their fractured family. From fortified safehouses to the shadowed halls of the CDC, they face relentless outbreaks, human predators, and the weight of secrets that could destroy everything they’ve fought to save.
In Salt & Bone, loyalty can be lethal, trust is currency, and every choice demands a sacrifice—sometimes of the people you swore to protect.

Why I wrote Salt & Bone
Salt & Bone began as a question I couldn’t shake: What happens to people when survival stops being enough?
I’ve always been drawn to stories about the edges of human endurance—the moments when morality, loyalty, and love collide under impossible circumstances. But I wanted to explore those questions through deeply personal stakes, where the monsters are both outside the walls and inside the people you trust most.
Lisa and Jack’s world is shaped by resilience, sacrifice, and the kind of complicated relationships that don’t fit neatly into “good” or “bad.” They make mistakes. They hurt each other. And they keep going, not because they’re fearless, but because they’re afraid—and they choose to fight anyway.
This series is my love letter to survival thrillers that leave you breathless, the found families who hold us together, and the quiet truth that sometimes the hardest battles are the ones we fight with ourselves.
