I will say, Ms. Urban kept a HUGE plot twist hidden until the end, and I really didn’t suspect. That’s a tough thing to do and is a testament to great writing skills. Kudos.

The story of Jack, Dr. Lisa, and a fun loving, singing Dr B as they try and put their lives back together. Something sinister is brewing though and they are being watched. This book was a delight to read! The author brought so much life to the characters! The story had twists and turns and the apocalypse may not be over. I was disappointed when I had to leave these characters.

As a huge reader of ‘zombie’ fiction, it is hard to be pleasantly surprised by a story. But The Rabid was a heartwarming written, while providing all the excitement we look for in this genre. Without giving anything away, the author has created characters you really care about, flawed and delightfully human. I was sorry when this gem of a story ended.
